PURPOSE OF THE WORKSHOP

To provide experienced managers seeking to transition into the solar industry an overview of the industry and the various opportunities found throughout the value chain from manufacturing to project development, legal and finance.

CONTENT OF THE WORKSHOP
Please include an in-depth description, agenda, syllabus or the like here. The more detail, the better.

The workshop will be comprised of a series of presentations by experienced practitioners in the fields of:

  • manufacturing
  • legal/ contractual and regulatory issues
  • project development and finance
  • system integration.

Each presenter will provide a brief background introduction himself and describing how he came to be in the position he is now in.  A description of the current business environment in each sector along with the challenges and opportunities that exist will be discussed.

The Solar Business Forum is intended to provide experienced professional managers with the opportunity to gauge where their particular skill sets and experience might be applied within the industry.  Rather than focusing on a specific area or skill such as installation, sales or finance, the Solar Business Forum gives participants a holistic look at the industry value chain, from end to end.
