Description: Are you looking to maximize energy efficiency for space heating systems? Explore energy efficient heating technologies combined with active solar thermal to satisfy low electrical energy requirements while achieving the highest degrees of comfort and efficiency for residential and commercial heating systems. This workshop will feature European style hydronic heating with the use of non-electric temperature controls and "smartpump" electric saving circulators. Solar closed loop and drain-back systems will be included into the design mix for the production and storage of thermal energy. A Presentation Guidebook featuring designs in the presentation and the Solar Heating Sizing Calculator are included!
Materials to be provided to attendees include A Presentation Guidebook of the slide presentation and design schematics, and the Solar Heating Calculator for sizing solar space heating systems.
Who should attend? Architects, Engineers, Heating and Solar Contractors

8 AIA CEU's - Health & Welfare and Sustainability - available for this session
