GENERAL SESSIONS, also known as Plenary Sessions, showcase speakers of the highest caliber, and the most important subjects. General sessions are included in your All-Access Pass and Full, One-Day and Student Conference Registration.

FORUMS can include case studies, panel discussions or debates and interactive peer-to-peer teaching sessions. Forum sessions are included in your All-Access Pass and Full, One-Day and Student Conference Registration.

INDUSTRY TRAINING SESSIONS are presented by leading renewable energy companies, and are designed to help business owners, dealers, installers, and others working in the solar industry learn about specific products and services offered by the presenting companies. Registration requirements vary - please see the specific session description for more information.

MEETINGS - many of the conference Presenting and Participating organizations hold business meetings in conjunction with the conference. Meetings listed here and on the final conference program are open to all attendees unless otherwise noted in their description.

SOCIAL EVENTS offer great networking opportunities, food and fun! Some events are included in your All-Access Pass and Full, One-Day and Student Conference Registration, and some require separate registration. Please see the specific event description for more information.

TECHNICAL SESSIONS offer presentations based on papers written for SOLAR 2010. Papers summarize new findings, important work, case studies and new ideas. Technical sessions are included in your All-Access Pass and Full, One-Day and Student Conference Registration.

TOURS - visit important and interesting local renewable energy sites. Tours take place on Saturday, May 22 and require separate registration. Please see the specific tour description below for more information.

WORKSHOPS offer in-depth, often hands-on training. Many offer continuing education credits for various certifications and professional organizations. The following hands-on workshops will be offered either FRIDAY, MAY 21, 2010 or SATURDAY, MAY 22, 2010.  These Workshops require separate registration as they are not included in any conference registrations. See each workshop description for registration and cost information.

SOLAR SUCCESS! Training Event sessions are designed for entrepreneurs who want to establish new solar photovoltaic (PV) installation businesses, as well as electrical and construction business leaders seeking to expand their businesses to include solar PV system sales and integration. This training is also useful for existing solar business owners who need to train new sales and project management employees. Targeted to the knowledgeable technical professional, this training is appropriate for electrical contractors, journeyman electricians, and recent entrants into the solar industry who want to improve their skills and knowledge. This is not an entry-level electrical course; knowledge of electricity and current NEC electrical code is a prerequisite.

PUBLIC DAY Sessions are specifically targeted to home and business owners who want to learn How to Take the Next Step and put solar energy to work saving energy and money. Public Day sessions are organized by the Arizona Solar Energy Association, a chapter of the American Solar Energy Society. Public Day sessions are included in ALL registrations - including the $5 registration.
