The Exhibit Hall at SOLAR 2010 will feature the newest and most innovative products and services in the renewable energy industry. The exhibitors will be able to help you both professionally and personally with their ideas and innovations.

Public Day Sessions

In addition to the Green Careers Resources Center and special workshops, your $5 Exhibit Hall and Public Events ticket will admit you to special Public Day sessions organized by the Arizona Solar Energy Association (see schedule below), and you may attend all of the Industry Trainings offered on Friday and Saturday. Green Careers Resources Center and Workshops

Visit the Green Careers Resource Center in the Exhibit Hall at SOLAR 2010 and learn how to get started on your solar career and land your Green Job. The Resource Center will be open 10am to 5pm on Thursday, May 20 and Friday, May 21, and 10am to 3pm on Saturday, May 22.

In addition to resources available at the Center, attend a special seminar to learn about what jobs and business opportunities are available in your region, and how to prepare for a satisfying career in the solar industry. The Phoenix Workforce Connection will also be on hand and presenting sessions about preparing your resume and brushing up on your interviewing skills (see below for the schedule).

Green Jobs and the Economy
The most recent American Solar Energy Society jobs report suggests that tackling climate change will be a major net job creator for the U.S. economy. According to the report, aggressive deployment of renewable energy and energy efficiency can net up to 4.5 million new U.S. jobs by 2030 and provide the greenhouse gas emission reductions necessary to tackle climate change.
